This safari lodge merges with its natural surroundings and gives excellent access to African wildlife whilst ensuring a maximum degree of comfort and security. Situated high on a plateau, which forms a natural boundary to the Zambezi National Park, just 4km from The Victoria Falls, it enjoys uninterrupted views and spectacular African sunsets. From the on-site waterhole, where no attempt has been made to control nature, to the thatch rustic finishes, vibrant fabrics and local hardwoods, the theme of the lodge is one of human sensitivity to its natural surrounds.
All bedrooms have en suite facilities, overhead fans, air-conditioning, mosquito nets, telephones and private balconies with superb views overlooking the Zambezi National Park. The conference centre, private boardroom, card room, Makuwakuwa Restaurant, Buffalo Bar and outdoor amphitheatre reflect the same sensitivity to its natural surrounds. The open-air and award winning Boma (meaning "place of eating") Restaurant gives one another superb eating venue to choose from, offering a full buffet dinner whilst watching some traditional dancing. Facilities at the lodge include a restaurant, bar and swimming pool overlooking the above-mentioned waterhole. There is a shuttle service running to and from the village.
